how to swap wastegate springs
How hard is it to swap out a wastegate spring? Any special tools needed? It looks pretty straight forward but i've never done it so i just wanted to get some advice from those who have. This is on a 40mm Tial, going from a .8 bar to a .45 bar spring. TIA

Re: how to swap wastegate springs (blownsi)
there should be about 8 Allen bolt holding the top part of the wastegate, undo those a lil at a time going from one bolt to one accross from it....(like you're tightening up a lug nuts, do it in a cross pattern, so you're not putting too much pressure on one bolt)
after all of them are loose...then take out the top part of the WG, the spring should attach to it and the spring will have a rubber boot tucked in the WG part...
take it out, put the new spring and tuck the rubber boot back in...
then put it back like the instruction above in reverse...and torque all the allen bolts down equally, a lil at a time, until they're all tight
