How to set up cam gears and timing on LS-T crx
OK heres the deal, I've got a Ls turbo crx and I'm trying to figure out how to set the timing. I know the lower marks on the crank pully line up with the mark on the oil pump. But right now I have to lean the distributor way back (the bolt holes don't even line up and I have to hold it by hand) to get it to start.
Its got the stock cam gears on there now, but I've got BDL cam gears I want to put on so I can bolt up the dizzy. I'm not sure which marks to go by on the gears, there are three different marks on them.
Can you guys give me a quick run down of how to get the timing right and set the cam gears right? I feel like a noob askin, but its got me confused. Thanks.
