How safe are the a/c lines near the wastegate?
That wastegate runs so hot!! I burned my fingers twice now. I have my AC line resting on it with just that rubber ring around it insulating it (the one that was in the bracket that I had to take off to fit the wastegate on). The metal line gets a bit hot to the touch. Wondering if that has caused problems for folks?

a/c is safer in the dumpster, how hot does it get in PA, anyways try bending some of the line a little with your hands, also take the two little rad brackets and redrill a hole so that you can mount the rad flush to the rad support/hood latch this will give you 1/4" also get some insulating tape or heat wrap for a/c crap. looks like you also need to remember to wear your mother oven mitts when working on your car.

agreed...oven mitts would be safer.
Is there a risk of lines exploding? it does get hot and humid enough in PA to keep the AC.
