Default How much you think a 2" reducer effects spool time?

I have this crap DRAG downpipe, it is 2.5" all the way down then they put a 2" reducer at the very end to make it fit a stock cat

I was wondering how much you think this effect my spool time. Here is my setup:

DRAG 2.5" downpipe -> 2" reducer -> 2.5"-3" high flow cat -> 3" kteller all the way back.

I dont see full boost til around 4-5k, think removing the reducer will cut down my spool time?

Thanks

by getting rid of that reducer you will gain spool and power. If I were you I would change the cat out to a straight 3" and flare out your DP to 3" too if that is a possibility. GL

i got a buddy who can cut and weld the downpipe but i just blew 150 on the cat so i will have to stay 2.5" - 3" for now, but yeah i gotta get that reducer removed.

how is your cat setup? if it's like most, you had someone weld on a pipe to it right? so can't you cut that pipe off and weld on a 3inch pipe? and then get new flanges to match the dp to the cat?

or maybe....3inch test pipe?

i have a kteller 3" exhuast with a kteller 3" -> 2.5" conversion cat. My downpipe is 2.5" all the way to the cat except for some retarded reason DRAG welded a 2" reducer in the end so i need to cut off the whole flange and get a 2.5" flange welded back on..
