Re: how much will it cost to turbo my integra (THE94GSR)
Stoopid as the question may be. Go research "TURBO" first of all. Gain your knowledge from it! Then if you know what you are doing to save money. Then start peicing together a kit. (Custom Job/install will save you LOTS of money!)
And Depending on your goals, etc.
For the Bling or for the SPeed? If you got money.. There are lots of kits out there ready to bolt up.
http://www.importparts.com <-- Drag3 Turbo Kits
http://www.sparkracing.com
http://www.maxrev.com
http://www.revhard.com
http://www.full-race.com
If peicing together, above sites sells lots of individual parts also.
Also an option with
http://www.lovefab.com (cheaper alternative to others)
http://www.johnnyracecar.com <--Cheap nicely made intercoolers
http://www.ktellers.com (correct me on this site.. Forgot exactly the link name) -=P
etc.
Browse HT. You will find lots of useful sponsors etc on here to gladly help you (i think)
It all depends what your budget/goal floats you. Just not a simple how much it will cost. Your looking from $1500-$3000-$4000+ price range easily. (remember about labor too) Goodluck..

there is more to buy than just a turbo kit ,guages, engine management, injectors, fuel pump, guage bezel, if you buy a used or parted out turbo be prepared to pay more for install or have a harder time installing because it is rare that you have everysingle part, many times washers or little bolts and lines are missing. if you want to go cheap than dont go turbo also a clutch should be thought about too

Re: (AirWaveGT)
In the long run. Most of us if not all will surpass 5k.
Its fun as hell though.
Im in the process of adding up all my stuff. Your best bet is to go top of the line stuff so you don't want to change things later. Don't sell yourself short and if you don't have the money for everything then just piece it together slowly. Try and find as many deals as you can and search through forced induction classifieds. If you meet the right people you can make it by saving a lot of cash.....but either way plan on spending a good chunk of cash. Remember tuning aswell, thats a shitload and is the most important part.

Re: how much will it cost to turbo my integra (THE94GSR)
Just take a look around the forums. There are enough public prices, part information and vendors to find everything you need.

Re: how much will it cost to turbo my integra (0x64)
ya i dropped a total of around 4500-5000 on EVERYTHING including tuning.for my kit.. I peiced together everything.. all new parts basically. I installed it myself, but had it tuned. if you want a turbo kit done right and reliable, prepare to drop a decent amount of cash.

Re: how much will it cost to turbo my integra (J337_UNIT)
People can spend anywhere from $700 up to $7000 for their turbo setup. It all depends on what kind of parts you want and what kind of setup you are looking for. A turbo project can turn into a huge *** money pit. And I recently learned that when I started to tally up my expenses(Really bad move!!) All in all if i were to go back and do it again....I would!!! But that is all dependent on you. Decide first, what kind of setup your looking for..and then go from there. Here is my setup:
*Brand new 00 Honda Civic EX coupe-Free (Gift from my parents)
*01 B18B 10,160miles from Import Auto Salvage-$2700
*Labor for swap-$650
*(New) ACT HD Clutch/Street Disc w/ ACT streetlite flywheel-$630
*(Used) SFP turbo manifold-$230
*(New) Garrett T3/To4e turbo 57trim 63ar-$600
*(Used) Greddy Type S BOV w/flange-$170
*(Used) Tial WG w/flex dump tube-$190
*(Used) Guage cluster bezel-$30
*(Used) 2-guage pod-$20
*(Used) Hondata s200b-$350
*(Used) Apex'i Intercooler piping-$25
*(Used) Precision 350hp Intercooler-$280
*(New) Custom 4bolt downpipe-$180
*(Used) Greddy 52mm egt and boost guage-$210
*(New) Greddy Turbo Timer-$80
*(Used) Greddy Profec B w/remote switch-$200
*(New) Greddy 52mm Oil pressure guage-$145
*(New) Greddy 52mm Temp guage-$110
*(New) Upper chargepipe by Project_DC2 -$75
*(New) Honda OEM distributor Cap, Rotor, Oil Pan Gasket-$69
My Total Cost $6,944
Unfortunately the swap is in, but the turbo kit isn't...I still need to buy some RC 750cc injectors, 255lph-HP fuel pump, oil feed/return lines from http://www.fast-turbo.com, a 2.5 catback exhaust from http://www.Kteller.com, a few other miscellaneous parts, and finally tuning at VSV motorsports in Carrolton, TX. So the money pit will probably end up being a little over $7,000. Wow...I never realized how much I spent until now. Kinda scary yo!
Good Luck ,
Khoi

yea mine is about to 5K now. i started w/ a revhard kit, traded out the weak parts in it for stronger parts (fmu ditched, bought a dumptube, inline pump ditched, missing link ditched etc etc.) and bought really really expensive gauges as well as rc 440s, thermal R&D 3" catback, flex pipe, man there's been so much stuff i cant even remember. but anywho, now that i really know how having a turbo is, i have bought eagle Hbeam rods, wiesco pistons, and will buy aem ems in about 3 weeks hopefully. then i'll still need bigger injectors, rod bearings, new timing belt while im in there etc etc etc etc. point being.....it adds up. dont turbo if you cant afford the addiction that comes w/ it. btw, if i could have gone back.....i would completely have pieced together my own kit.

Re: how much will it cost to turbo my integra (THE94GSR)
It costs ALOT...if you want to do it nice and right.
I spent about 500 the last few weeks buying things I hadn't accounted for. Ex: extra piping, saw blades, drill bits, clamps, transistion hoses, air filter, air saw, bolts, screws, fittings, custom work, etc.
Its going to be awesome when I'm done though.

Lol, sorry, not all of us are in this to show off our bling bling $250 dollar blow off valve. Some of us just like to go fast. As long as its done RIGHT , functional, and safely, I dont care how pretty it looks, it's a Honda.

Yeah I agree, there's tons of random **** that youre gonna need to buy on top of the basic turbo kit. Some things to think about are, Gauges and gauge pod, Slim Fans, Boost controller, larger exhaust (2.5-3"), Vac Manifold and fittings, turbo timer, oil pan gasket, Dremel (very useful), ect... and if you plan to tune yourself youre gonna need a burner, chipping supplies, and a wideband.

That's all fine and dandy. I just went with what I felt were the best quality parts that I could find, and I'm just saying in my situation, I'm sitting right above the $5K mark right now. I have nothing against the budget boost...hell, I'm trying to help some of my friends do it. I just wanted something more than budget boost though. I never said budget boost doesn't run correctly. The main reason I think mine is so expensive is because I was not willing to sacrifice AC, and I wanted to maintain a full 3" turbo back exhaust.
