Default How much power could i get outta this?

I have a spare B18 block and im thinking of having it sleeved and bored to 84.5mm with forged rods and 9:1 pistons (B18a1 block). Have the whole bottom end balanced, ITR water pump, ITR oil pump and maybe have the crank knife edged. Then i have a spare B18a1 head (have a full B18b1 swap rite now) and i was thinking of getting the Rocket motorsports head package (cams, springs retainers), get some oversized valves, port and polish the head with maybe a Blox IM or something similar. With all that stuff wut do u think a good HP goal would be for the engine? I havent seen alot of crazy hp B18a/b's so im not sure if i should do this and aim for 400whp or maybe even 500whp? I want to have alot of torque so im considering just having the stock IM port matched with a bigger TB.

Any help is appreciated.

For that kinda power, it takes a nice turbo, something maybe like a t3/t60-1 turbo and lots of good tuning.

why is everyone going with 9:1? whats wrong with 9:7 or 10:1? You'll reach your power goal faster.

you wanna keep the compression down to a safe limit so it wont knock

yeah im obviously going to be boosting it. i already have the turbo setup planned but im debating on the turbo because B18a/b's dont really rev high so id like something that will spool fairly soon but also i dont wanna get something that will choke up when i try to get big numbers out of it.

so with an SC61 wut numbers do u think i could pull? Anyone got any recomendations for getting maximum torque, im willing to sacrifice peak HP for crazy torque.

really? i woulda thought LS/vtec vs LS the straight LS would make more torque less hp?

whats the most torque u guys have seen from a Turbo B series?

i run an 84.5mm sleeved ls/vtec 10:1 CR with a t3/t67, gonna be getting it tuned and dyno'd in the next week. my goal is 450-500whp

lmk how it goes man, that should be a monster as long as everything goes good and u have all the necessary stuff.

im not sure if i should go stock vtec head or go modified LS head?

should be a good reference of what to look for.

you could probably pull off the #'s you are looking for with an sc34 or sc60 (or the garrett versions if u are low on loot).

Thanks for the link, im guessing with an equal length style manifold, 3" exhaust, slightly larger turbo I should be able to pull some bigger numbers. What do u think the max hp/tq i could push on 94 octane?

ne-one think 400whp is a bad goal for 94 octane 84.5mm LS?

maybe 350-400 ish on pump...maybe a few more cause you are on 94 and not 93 or 91
