how much am i going to pay for a stage 3 clutch and what do you recommend?
it's 4 in the morning and i can't just call anyone to find out how much a good turbo clutch is going to cost and i am pricing and ordering the rest of my 5-speed conversion parts because i am converting it myself very soon. most places don't list prices on clutches? help me out guys please.

I don't know why i'm still up at 5 in the morning but i've got the ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate with Street/Strip disk in my car.. Clutch was $325 i believe, though now i think they raised the price to $350.
It may or may not be appropriate for your setup depending on how much power you're planning on pushing.

Where did you get your clutch at for 350? Just curious because I can't find it any lower than 400.

the heavy duty plate is supposed to be cheaper than the Xtreme press plate w/ organic disk.

i have a clutchmasters 4 and I love it....I would recommend clutchmasters to anyone....good grab...light peddle feel...a little pricey but you get what you pay for

yeah i just picked up a clutchmaster stage 3. i thought that stage 4 would be a little to much for a daily driver.

CM stage 4 for boost is the way to go. Fine for daily drivers! I drive from Ny to Nj everyday on my stage 4 from CM. And its not a pain when there is traffic. NOT a hard pedal feel.

all clutchnet clutches from ben@importparts are $300 for board members. iirc.

Yes i just got my Clutchnet clutch last week and it looks great and for 300 bucks you cant beat it. As soon as i got it i sat it next to my ACT Xtreme pressure plate and they look very similar. I would go with the clutchnet

I've got a Clutch Specialties 6 puck for $275...my friends and I all have a Clutch Specialties and like them a lot

My vote is for ClutchNet too. We carry every clutch manufacturer but only recommend one.

Ben, what about exedy? How do they compare to clutchnet? I am torn between the two.
