Just doing some number crunching for my car (not a honda) but I noticed that only a handfull of all out drag cars here run a t4 hotside because for most honda owners the motors are too small to spool em. Any ways when does the t3 hotside with the largest a/r become a restriction to power production?

Good question, but probably impossible to answer. There are so many setups, and so many motor combinations.
There is probably a point with every individual setup where moving to a bigger turbine will provide more power, but usually at some expense to your powerband and responce. Will you be faster? I don't think you will know until you try both.
