i have a big ole pile of turbo sitting in my closet but no money for pistons lol

its either put it on and blow my engine and possibly hurt my block, or wait for the cash and do it right.... i am leaning towards the second one

injectors and pistons and i am done dammit!!(i have a teg gsr but i had put ctr pistons in before compr is too high **** knocks if i dont always use 94 octane)

just like to here some blues you might of had to just hurry to get everything and then just have to sit there and look at it for a long time lol

Yeah, i've had the turbo blues. I'm being forced to get rid of my current turbo setup in order to pay for future educational fees. Can't really say that it's bad, though, because education is important, but after all that hard work and now I have to part ways with it in a month. It makes Daniel sad. . . .

i had the blues until about a week in a half. turbo was sitting in my room for three months and some days. i was just saving up for my fuel stuff (hack).......but i finally put it in saturday before last and i am in love.

Yup i've had the GT28 sitting in the closet for a couple months now, and it'll be there for a few months longer yet...taking me a while to source everything i need and then have the cash to pay for it all!

Cant wait to see what she'll do when its all in though

I do. I had to sell the parts for my build up when I unexpectedly had to drop the new motor in.

although I'm making progress, I do have the blues. My motor goes in tomorrow, but its just going to sit there dormant until I get my manifold in, which I don't have money for.

I am going through it right now. Tell me how you would feel if your car wasnt running right for a month, spent $1000 dollars trying to fix the problem with your own hands in your own garage and end up with a bad motor.....

Now I have to wait for the stuff in my sig......then I have to drive like a granny breaking in the motor.......then tune.......

I've definitely got the turbo blues. I've spent the last 6 months buying parts for a car that is 10,000 miles away and now I may not even be able to get the title to register it. Right now there are $6k worth of parts sitting in my little brother's room and I may have to sell it all.

well u could just run a thicker headgasket to lower the compression till u could afford pistons and the rest of the stuff u need to build the motor. then U could have fun boosting for awhile while u built up a spare motor, then pull out the motor u got in there and sell it.

guys, we always talk about this time to time....

don't try to do too much all at one time at one shot, not unless you make 6 figures income a year. do it a lil at a time, start with a kit with stock motor, learn it here and there, then move on....
don't try to go from stock motor NA to fully built high boosted motor in one shot....

you'll end up getting burn with too many bad *** parts and not enough money to finish it and will end up selling everything.. while your buddy with a stock motor and drag 3 kit is spaking the hell out of GT's and breaking tires loose all the time.......
the only one that I know now that still have the will to keep going is VaporTrail and Paul_Vang....a lot of them has gotten burned and sold all their parts and now they missed turbo honda and wanted to go back...

i have the block guard i just need rod bolts head stud kit and my pistons
got a side job lined up with a friend for sunday making 2 beans there so i am almost there gotta wire up a 57 chevy from the ground up but its one of those pre made harness;s so it shouldnt be too bad(i hope)

i swear i get up in the middle of the night to get my baby a bottle and i look over with one eye open and look .....................................
i swear they are looking at me i even thought i saw the turbine move once damn !!!! you guys are giving me hope there is light at the end of this tunnel

this is not relate to your question, but i'm new to the site just want to know how i could post a question. advice would be appreciate. thanks. by the way, do you know why the boost drop on a b16 with t3 when the rpm reaches 5? my coz boost his b16 with 10lb and once the rpm reaches 5, the boost drop to 6, why is that do you know? can you help me post it or you could let me know how to post a question. thanks a lot
