I'm getting **** from everyone in town because i've gone through six, of course, they're idiots that haven't done a custom turbo set-up. So post how many you've been through, i know i'm not the only one, i've read threads of people going through as many as me.

You mean going through them because you decide to buy something different to get more power, different powerband, or do you mean because they go bad?

Either way, I'm on my second one, and already thinking about switching it again for more power when I build my bottom end this month.

2 years.....same turbo.....only rebuilt cause I blew my motor and I think it ruined the seals.

So far im on my 3rd turbo.. My first was a little Garrett T3 that I wish I still had, loved it..

My 2nd is my T4 that I still have, spool is too slow on a B16 so I got my 3rd which is a T3/T4 to help it spool up better..

I am on my third, first one I used a needle valve without a gauge to turn the oil pressure down, killed it after 3 months of boosting it just locked up. ha ha!
second one did not reach my power goal, its still in perfect condition after 7000 miles.
third one is still stitting in the box waiting for the downpipe to slap it on and retune the car.

i had the drag kit i bought 4 years ago on untill about 3 months ago. ihave since gone with a t3t67 h.o. full race setup.

2 TO4S, 2 rebuilds and 1 rebuild, on 2 cars(fd as single and twins, civic(present))

I've had about 3 different to4e's, but I have never put them on anything, and the TO4S is probably gonna wind up on my WRX here shortly.

None were replaced because they went bad except the Garret 46trim.. and im planning on trying out another turbo after I tune the car with the 8th turbo if I dont achieve the whp goal im aiming for.

I'm talking about failing due to problems with the set-up. Doesn't really matter, the people starting **** with me banned me from their forum, i just wanted a reference to post there to show i'm not the only one that's gone through quite a few turbos.

well if you went through 6 turbos due to failure.. theres definately something wrong.

Only two actually failed, one was my error rebuilding it unbalanced. I took it to have it balanced and they said "It shouldn't really matter with a turbo this small", about 20 times into boost, the shaft snapped in half, heh.

1st turbo stock greddy 15g it was ok
rebuild greddy 15g ported out and bead/head blasted, spooled hella quick at like 2200 it was a fucken beast but no top end what so EVER! D16y7 STOCK POWER at 12 psi it was coo, till i sold everything
