I am wanting to know how many people have cracked the <U>STOCK</U>h22 sleeves. or have scared them up beyond use. If you have please post your set up as well. thanks

Tune your car well and they won't crack.

u wont get a chance to crack them you'll blow ringlands before you get even close to cracking the stock sleeves,unless you're using the mahle gold series pistons i know someone thats running the mahles and putting down around 350whp and not a problem yet.the frm sleeves are very strong get a good tune and your good.

thats what i have been finding out. i did a search early this morning and there were a lot of ppl saying that the stock sleeves were very weak because they were thinner than the b series. but i will be puttin the mahle pistons and rods with arp head studs, rod bolts etc.

not weak just frm, if you are really worried i believe the jdm h22 is closed deck, not 100% though.

I am under the impression that only the early H22A engine blocks are of the closed-deck design.
