I have a DOHC ZC with a ZEX 55 shot I dont plan to go any higher!! Do you think I can plan on having the motor for a while? I know if you set up the nitrous right (fuel) etc. it should be ok but im just wondering what the NITROUS will do to my motor in the long RUN! thanks alot

my old race car had a 95 shot on a stock motor, sice i have sold the car it has had over 80,000 miles put on it.

It all depends on how many times you use it, i had it on my 95 dx forever and I dot have the car anymore, the motor still runs great. you can probably spay it like 9 or 10 times a week, and still use 5 or 6 at the track and be fine, as long as your motor is good. Just get a fuel pump, and you will be fine, change your plugs more then usual and always use 93 octane or higher and it will be fine.

Before I put my turbo kit on, I was running a 65 shot (zex kit) on my D16Z6 with stock internals and no fuel mods at the time. I used it a lot and never ran into any problems. My engine is still in great condition too.....so I wouldn't worry about it. Have fun!

If you spray conservatively it can last awhile. Conservative goes out the window with most people when they start spraying though.

Just don't abuse it. I had mine for three months till I got bored with it. But I remember juicing on the way to work a couple times when I was late . Motor's fine though. Checked compression recently... 240 across the board
