Default how long do your motors last?

I just wanted to get an idea of how long your built/semi built motors last. Right now I have a low comp ls/vtec with je 9:1 pistons and eagle rods, been running it na since July cause I just now got all my turbo parts, so hopefully in early spring it will be turbo, but I want to know how long the motor is gonna actually last, its gonna be professionally tuned obviously cause I have put too much money into it at this point to skimp out on something like that. By the way shooting for around 275whp on 10psi

I think everything depends on how well the motor was built..which parts were used and tuning..also depends on how much the motor is driven and beaten..

The lesser the power, the longer it will last. This applies to every motor, including well tuned and well built ones.

a friend of mine put it together with the right parts, it runs pretty good now, with the exception of sounding like a diesel when i crank it up on cold mornings, but im told thats because of the expansion factor on the je pistons

should last a while as long as it was built right and especially tuned correctly. Just take care of it that's all. fresh oil every 2500-3000 miles Just keep an eye out for leaks
