How long can a 90 degree wastegate bend be?

How long can a 90 degree wastegate bend be?
Is it bad to have a long 90 degree bend going from the manifold to the wastegate? Can it be about a foot long, or will that create problems? Reason I ask is because of dumptube fitment.

air doesn't like to make turns, but on the wastegate it wont hurt that much. do a serch, there has been alot of talking and pics of this lately.
