Default how good is a type r tranny for boost?

i will be boosting in the next month or so but having a hard time to decide between stay with my itr tranny or trade it for a gsr and cash... im scared of those short gears when im boosted... what mph to itrs top out at?

Are you afraid you'll get more than a 150mph trap speed in the 1/4 mile or hit that speed on a straightaway on a track? Because I know you're not going to try that speed on the public highways, right?

ITR gear ratios are all over the internet; try a simple google search.

I'm also assuming you don't actually own an ITR, either.

no i have a type r swap and figured this would be the best place to get my answer... it will be roll racing...im asking because a few years ago i had a boosted gsr and it went to about 150ish and i know the itr has shorter gears...

depends on how high you rev it. I had an ITR tranny in my built hatch and with a 10,000rpm limiter I was able trap 147mph in top of 4th gear

If "roll racing" = on public highways, then GTFO. Seriously.

As for the rest, ask in hybrid or try a simple google search.

Not quite.

I was mixed on forced induction and transmission. I cose forced induction. The dedicated form mod can move it to transmission if desired.

i dont encourage it but if some nice car got next to u on an open road i say go for it... thanks for getting it moved..i was gonna post it on here but what i really wanted to know is what a ITR topped out at... im mostly gonna track the car but my brother has a 08 vette and he only roll races so i dont want it to cut me short...

well its a stock R and i currently rev it to 8500...

well immm throw 5th if i have to which most probably i will... i ran a z06 in my gsr and that sucker didnt want to stop at 120mph so we kept going till i clearly beat him..
