Anyway I have the 15g and 18g turbos and a D series Greddy manifold currently and both turbos fit the D series manifold. The inlet for the 18g is bigger though a little over 3"

so they both fit on the same mani? the 18g fits on the 15g mani? i am thinking of gettin a 15g kit and swap turbos. does this require any modification except swaping turbos, anything extra? and will the 15g emanage still function properly with a 18g turbo on it?

18G on a 15G manifold = no A/C

You can hit 13's with the 15G and a STOCK motor at 10 psi in a HEAVY EX COUPE on STREET TIRES.

but wont the motor go at that level of psi? or have alot of stress? how far can i push it on stock internals? and in that case then i can run the 19t on 10 psi and hit 13s then right?

On a greddy turbo kit, you can get away with about 12-13 psi on the stock D16Y8 with GOOD tuning, but don't run it that hard everyday - 10 psi max daily driven.

gotta thanks money. i dont think i will boost more than 10 until i build it up. tuning is the hard part. too many shady shops. i think i let TurboXS do the tuning since they are in Md. good idea?

just curious. can i get away without tuning a 15g kit with a 18g turbo and boost about 10 psi? and still run safe.

Just run a 15G first and see how you like it.

My guess is that at 10 psi, it'll be more than enough power for you and definitely dip you in the 13's.

I wish I could operate like that, but I'm too poor.

<---- picked up a complete used intercooled greddy kit for $900 legit

here is the plan.
Goal: 13s with a y8 greddy 19t
parts:
Greddy 19t turbo kit
Greddy 31v fmic(still thinking of the 24V fmic, how do they fit? do they fit properly?)
Greddy type RS BOV( just want something different and new on the car)
Greddy gauges and controllers( turbo timer, turbo controller, etc.)
Then later plans after is to hit low 13s and high 12s:
DSM injectos
AEM Fuel rail and regulator
Cometic head gasket
ARP bolts
pistons and rods(brand still undecided)
bearing( still deciding)
flywheel(still researching)
LSD(still researching)
ACT Stage 3 clutch
Hows this look Honda-Tech?

I think you need to do a lot of reading.

I've got too much to do to analyze and re-suggest everything.
