The GT30 is a much better turbo, but also a much more expensive turbo. For most people it's not worth the huge price increase.

to add to that, if you don't have a built block and some sort of REAL fuel management, you'd be wasting money. The GT series is for big power number cars. Otherwise, stick with a normal T3/04 turbo family.

how much hp can i produce? what is the general spool time for it on a B18,B20......... i'm gonna guess 4.3k to 4.5k?
*Do they last longer too?
*If you have the money would you get it and just use it to make 300hp or would you just stick with the tippical t3t4?
*how much do they cost?
*would this just be a easy bolt on if you had a DragIII with the t3t4 already for does it need the use of a didfferent mainfold and turbo houseing?

The GT30 can produce in excess of 500+hp. You can expect spool to vary depending on motor setup, but a 63 a/r would spool in the area of 4.5k. The GT30 uses dual ball bearings in a cartridge setup, which makes them extremely durable, as it eliminates the thrust bearing. If you want the best of everything, you could use it in a lower hp setup, but its really designed for cars making in excess of 350hp. It will bolt up to the standard DRAG type manifolds. If interested, IM me for pricing.

Its hard to compare, but it's bigger than a 60-1, smaller than a 62-1. It will support up to 700hp depending on trim.

Not to mention the GT blurbo has almost NO resistance on the blades, thus they spin easier and require less to get up to speed.

The hardware is WAY better quality also.... I have seen John's Blurbo and compared to my t3/t4 it was a world of a difference.

Aren't these turbos ball bearing?

You guys know anything about the HKS GT2530 turbos? I'm thinking of slapping two of them on my 300zx.

From what you all are saying, a GT30 has less resistance and more flow than a 60-1 correct? Well does a GT30 flow more and have less resistance than a 62-1? Or how about a TS04?

gt30's use a T04S compressor housing, and a 52 trim wheel. How it compares to a 62-1 i dont know, but it's similar to a 60-1.
