Do you just make a wood box container for it? Who would ship something that big and heavy? I called UPS and they said they can ship if it's under 150lbs. I don't think my block weighs that much. Does anyone have recommendations so I can get my block sent out?

I sent mine through UPS. I took a box, and built a wood box inside. Then wrapped the block in celophane, and filled the box with newspaper and peanuts.

Depending where you are sending it Amtrak will do it cheap, of course you have to have someone go pick it up.
With UPS who knows when or if it will ever arrive

Block weighs about 60lbs. I bought a box from officedepot that was rated to hold 85lbs, wrapped the block with plastic and wrapped it 4 times with big bubble wrap and shipped it UPS.
