how to check if vtec is working properly?
Hallo,
just for curiosity, is there a way to see if the vtec system is working properly when tuning a car without mechanical inspection?
just in case you have forgot to install one of the hydraulic pistons on one rocker arm. Then vtec solenoid will be switched as normal but the vtec isn't working properly anyway.
is there a way to tell if (not exactly what, but IF) something is going wrong with the vtec even if everything else is working (solenoid is switching, vtec pressure is ok, you even feel a littlebit of vtec kickin because the other 3 cylinders are switching)
Best regards
