You can't safely run much more than 8 psi with the JRSC fueling equipment. If you want more boost, you should really look at changing to some form of programmable engine management (it can be done for next to nothing) and run larger injectors (DSM 450s will do the job).

To raise the boost, you can change your crank pulley to the pulley from a 1996-up Civic. You'll also need a longer belt. If that doesn't get you the boost you want, then you're faced with removing the blower to change to a smaller blower snout pulley. It can't be done with the blower mounted in the car. You probably have a 3.8" pulley on there right now, and there are plenty of 3.4" pulleys kicking around that you should be able to get one for next to nothing. And yes, the pulleys from the B series blowers (M62) will work.

psi isnt your problem, tuning is, i gained significant power out of my JRSC once i dumped the JR fuel system stuff and went for an actual tune.

yes FMU sucks *** on the JRSC....ditch it then think about upping the boost.

Suggestions much appreciated.. guess best option is for pulley change, DSM 450 and re-tune? If I do this to get 8 psi how much HP gain based on actual experience is possible (other thread https://honda-tech.com/forums/forced-induction-16/%2A%2A%2A-official-jrsc-thread%2A%2A%2A-1214810/ indicates 6 psi: 197 whp; 8 psi: 215 whp on same engine si-vtec-sohc)?

BTW, FMU stands for fuel management unit?

FMU = Fuel Managment Unit. But that's just its name, its actually a rising rate regulator. As boost increases, so does fuel pressure. This is why its not used with larger injectors. If you want to use larger injectors, you'll need an actual engine management system. But be warned. you still haven't addressed any aftercooling that is needed with increased boost. You may be able to go to 8psi, possibly, but that's with larger injectors, no FMU and an engine management unit, that can address fuel concerns. After that, you need to make sure that you cool that pressurized air down with some sort of intercooling or aftercooling. Start reading about LHT cooling products, and find the pulleys you need. Supercharging is a little different (and more expensive when increasing boost pressure) than turbocharging.

LHT don't do D series anymore, but there's a guy in Kelowna BC that does.
