How accurate are the dynos at the car shows?? ?
ok today i went to a car show and there was the dyno thing there. . . how accurate do u think those are? i mean i didnt like the fact that their little *** fan was aimed too low and was blowing below my intercooler. . . and it was about 80-85 degrees when i had my 2 pulls. . . anyway i pulled off a 192 hp and 165 ft/lb. . thats at 6psi on a LS swap. . what do u think ? ? ?

they are off, but who knows how much. my friend had his car dynoed a few weeks ago at a nopi race just because the leader was at 160 hp, we were like WTF. they didn't have any fans blowing on the car and just hopped up there and made 3 consectutives pulls.. his turbo b16 on 5 psi completly intuned (1200 EGT max) made 214whp and the dude kept letting off at like 7k. the dumptube that was rigged up at the time was dumping right onto the backside of the i/c, with no fan on it, so that was hurting it alot.
but those dyno's are jenky

Those dynos are seriously flawed, 1. Because there isnt adequate air cooling the car. 2. depending on the Dyno it will give skewed numbers because of uneducated or lazy dyno tech's.. All they want is your money at car show's
