Re: Horse Power Goals
I wouldn't even use eagles on a 500hp car, too many issues I've seen personally.
800hp on a stock bore motor will take epic head work, a serious turbo, and race gas (no not even e85 will do 800).... and virtually every drivetrain, ignition, and fuel system component has to be upgraded
hope you have an endless budget for this setup... and no it won't be a street car unless you plan on keeping cans of vp in the car.

Re: Horse Power Goals
if you need to post on a forum to find out how to reach an 800whp goal, you will probably never reach it and this is probably some pipeline dream you have for a busted EG hatch that will never be built with proper parts.
illest, bruh.

Asking open ended questions usually means you are completely clueless. 800 whp is a ton. There is a build here where some guy hit 700 or so, it's not too old. Check his build out and see what he did. He ran into problem after problem at the dyno. Clutch, ignition, ect. It's a lot of work and a ton of money. Plus, as mentioned, it will probably never see the street.

Re: Horse Power Goals
I mean I've seen 1200fwhp SFWD civics and integras on the street but it's comical and stretching the term "street car"
especially since SFWD only requires that the car be validly tagged (i think insurance is required too, haven't read the rules in a bit)
so if you enjoy burning 15 dollar a gallon race fuel, eating tthrough expensive dot drag tires, driving a car around that doesn't idle, has no low end or part throttle drivability, gets you endlessly pulled over, and you start breaking **** left and right then by all means go ahead
I hate to agree with others but I feel once you start pricing everything needed you'll realize how pointless, time consuming, and hard it is... not to mention what kind of car you could buy with that money

Re: Horse Power Goals
I mean with such a vague question we can't really be that helpful
what chassis, what engine, what fuel, use of the car, budget, etc? we need more info to even begin to help you.
building an 800hp Honda requires incredible attention to detail, parts so clean they should be sterile, precision machine work, meticulous assembly, proper break in and an amazing tuner.
