hope to maybe get to 450whp..you think?
heres my setup..i made 353whp at 18psi on pump gas.
wiseco 8.5.1
eagle rods
cleavite bearings
750cc injectors
STR fuel rail
ACT 6 puck cluth unsprung
lighten factory flywheel
removed balancers
energy Motor mount incerts.
walbro 255
arp everything (bottom end)
Garret t3/t4 60 63
tial WG
custom everything else (2.5 ic ,3in dp, log mani)
3" Exhaust
mustang Innercooler
Honda s100
I was told my exhaust was the culprit for such low power on that boost level. so this is what i did:
before:
after:
also buying a straight threw muffler. I also am purchasing a meth kit from coolingmist. my goal is around 450whp. does it seem possible?
Thanks

you also need to look at the compression... the tune could be "conservative" also not much timing running a little rich. Also do you have e85 in your area? that might help a little but if you run it, you might need bigger injectors, sorry to lazy to do the math right now been a long day

log manifolds can make power...I saw a gsr make 470ish corrected(i'm at 6k feet ele) with a log manifold. but he was also on e85

That manifold is killing you more then you know, I just got my car ( h22 ) dynoed and partial tuned last week, and I must say if you had a better turbo manifold it wouldn't be an issue, but that manifold is killing the setup. Log manifolds aren't good, specially on an h22 head that loves to flow, these things love to breath. Send me an IM if you wanna talk about how my setup did.

well my original goal was 350whp. i made that. but now i want more. if i changed my manifold id have to change everything else. downpipe, ic pip, wastgate and so on. not really worth it to me to change all that. I did do everything my self but its not really easy. Ive seen people on make well over 400whp on a log.

The log manifold is why you are making such poor power. Your current manifold creates a lot of turbulence which in turn is creating exhaust reversion. Go with an 'equal length' style manifold and your problems will be solved. /thread.

i agree we made 349whp and 278tq @ 8psi bone stock internals, running t3/60-1 and lovefab mini me el manifold, 750cc's on s300.
Get the s300 and a better manifold, jeff evans made a comparison from log manifold to el manifold on his website and the numbers were remarkable. on a gsr but still the point of it

all in all the s300 is a much better system than anything out there since nothing extra is required to run it, everything stays the same, no extra wiring nor sensors at all. check it out for yourself @ www.hondata.com and read on.
