Hood clearance issues with a JRSC and a K24 in a EG?
Need some info guys. Im currently running a stock K24 frank in my EG. I picked up a EP3 JRSC and had it sent off to LHT so they can do the intercooler mod on the JRSC manifold. Im running the Hasport 1st gen mounts, and my hood is notched just a bit where the bottom left corner of the valve cover is. Im running EPS, so no hood clearance issues with the power steering. Im just a little concerned about hood clearance when I slap on the JRSC. I dont mind cutting into the skeleton on my CF hood, as long as I dont have to put a friggin hole in my hood in order to close my hood. I really dont want to shim my hood either (dont like the way it looks, IDK call me old school).
So if anyone is running a K24 setup in their EG using Hasport mounts and a JRSC (preferably a EP3 kit), can you help a honda brotha out and chime in?
