The have lots of cars making serious power on the microtech, plus their tuner knows the system inside and out. I can vouch for the guys down there, they are honest and do great work.

Re: Hondata vs. CFT's MicroTech LTX-8 (M.A.R.C.)
I had a Microtech EMS, it has its pro's and con's. The thing I didn't like about the unit is that Microtech, has a poor signal to pick up the camshaft/crankshaft position. The signal gets alot of noise in it because of the lack of filtration in the electronics, and this in turn causes a poor resolution for the timing. Basically you can be at 20 degrees in the map, and have +/- 3-4 timing variance from what the actual engine is experiencing with the timing. Other than that it is a affordable standalone.

i run the lt-8, the x is with individual coil packs, which i dont believe can be fired by hondata, even if you have the bosch coilpacks you buy.
i love microtech, id take it over hondata. and i did, i previously ran a p28/200b. onbaord 2 bar map sensor and such, got nice features, not really too in depth to tune, no chips to take out and put in.
and motech is clearly one of the best ems' ever so its not hard why a crazy sponsored build car such as the subi would switch from microtech.
another cft vouch here as well, rollo tuned my car. i love it. really great people there all around.
