Hondata updates tunes library with another 40 base maps
Hondata has added 40 base maps to its existing library of 30 tunes. (a total of 70 for those that cannot count)
We have recalibrated each of the stock Honda maps for D16z, B16A, B17A B18C and B18A for 240, 440, 550 and 800cc RC injectors.
Tuning for full throttle is easy. The newly added base files files have been calibrated for part throttle, which is usually the hardest and most time consuming part of the tuning process. Full throttle tuning usually only deals with about 15 - 20% of the fuel and ignition map. Part throttle deals with the other 80-85% which is usually the hardest to get right. Part throttle is where you spend most of your driving time.
In addition the fuelling and ignition curves have been recalibrated for all boost levels up to 29 lb, based on feedback from many top tuners around the US. Tuning for boost has just become a lot easier.
These files should save you considerable tuning time and maintain your stock starting and drivebility when you switch to bigger injectors.
More info available at http://www.hondata.com/tunerlibrary.html
Any stage 4 user that has not been contacted about this already needs to call us about being put on the mailing list.

Email me and I will send you a 800cc injector map for a F22. That should get you started with a few small adjustments.

Hey Doug which base map would you use for a b18c1 with JunIII cams, skunk manifold, i/e/h, and b16 pistons with rings?

Re: Hondata updates tunes library with another 40 base maps (MaxBoost)
I have a 12:5:1 built crvtec setup using a "mugen" chipped P28 and RC 310's. Which stage would you recommend? Obviously since I am na the boost option is unnecessary. I have been closely looking at the stage 2, but can I get away with using the stage 1?
