Re: Hondata & Turbo Q. (jvithayapun)
that depends on how hard you drive your car. it can last 100 miles or 10000 miles
If your detonating from aggressive driving on untuned motor its probably finished.

Re: Hondata & Turbo Q. (LEON)
ask HXMAN about his experince with hondata, he had a super long post about it what happened (running to rich, fouled out spark plugs, ect.) Also use search "hondata"

Re: Hondata & Turbo Q. (jvithayapun)
1. with hondata 2b and 8 psi, how long can i use base maps until i go get it tuned?
A base map is safe to drive on, but not to race. No matter how good your tuner says it is, every car is different, and should be dyno tuned. Thats the entire point of the system!

Re: Hondata & Turbo Q. (VaporTrail)
Exactly. The base map is just something to get you limping along until you get it tuned. Plus it saves you a lot of time from tuning from scratch.
