Hondata tuners in GA
As my turbo setup gets closer to being completed I'm starting to think about a tuner. There is a VERY nice dyno shop in the town where I live but the guys there are huge on Evo's and WRX's and can't tune hondata. The owner of the shop recommended a tuner by the name of Trey something (forgot the last name) from the Atlanta area. I was wondering who you guys would recommend and if anyone happens to know of the tuner I was recommended. Thanks in advance.

Doesnt Knowledge Performance do hondata tuning too?

Ed is a decent tuner but is afraid to push the limit's of an engines cabability. Whatever kind of power you are aiming for, take out about 70whp from what you want if it's a built motor and ed will get you there.

I hope that was not on a turbo engine.

Honestly 13.0:1 is not that bad NA. A local guy had Ed do his all motor c5 and Ed was running 12.0:1 on it. Believe it or not it hit 217whp which was pretty impressive.... I didn't get a chance to mess with the car so I don't know exactly how much that excessive fueling hurt his power. I would much rather be a little rich than run into detonation though. Of course 13.5:1 yields some more power but still... it's always better to be safe especially on a daily driver.

my friend has had his car tuned and retuned because of changes in the setup like 3 times in the past month at knowledge performance and kevin is the tuner, not ed. ed was never there. side note: 450whp at 20psi on 9.1:1 GSR on 6 gallons of 114 octane with a couple gallons of 93 mixed in is what they got it too STOCK SLEEVES baby.

I don't know what he drives, just wondering if this is the guy that'll be tuning my car. Is this guy associated with batlground? Do you know if he tunes hondata or not?

im not sure if he's associated with batlground. I can find out this weekend though. Ask if he drives a silver sti with a chargespeed kit and volks. Its the only trey i know of around here. His gf is associtaed with batlground, drives and evo, so it would lead me to believe that he is as well.
I'll find out for sure this weekend

Jim would be worth the drive out here, he can tune hondata and he can tune it good.
