Hondata s300 hi/low boost switch
Hopefully a simple question... I am using a MAC valve for my solenoid, got all the duty cycle settings correct and am tuned to ~18psi. I would like to use the hi/low boost switch but do not know where to install the switch.
Any help would be appreciated.

s manager>parameters>boost control>gear based>chose your input>set low through all gears>set high through all gears
i guess you need to know what wire you are using and what polarity to use.
i dont know all of them so i wont say for sure.

ahhhh I see it now.. duh. I should have looked before posting. If I remember correctly, all the ECM inputs expect a ground. I'll see which ones I have open and put a switch on there.
FYI, the available inputs are:
B5 ACS (Air Conditioning Switch)
B8 PSP (Power Steering Pressure)
D4 SCS (Service Connection Switch)
D2 BKSW (Brake Switch)
D6 VTP (VTEC Pressure)
I think I will use the SCS input since I already have a switch on that one thumbup:
Thanks!

i never messed with the S300 boost controller, but cant you just put a switch on the wire feeding the BC. if the switch is off you will just get wastegate boost. switch on u get boost controlled

Re: Hondata s300 hi/low boost switch (boosted k20)
You can do it that way if you have the right solenoid to do so, but that would defeat the purpose of what the unit has to offer.
You can have the boost by gear fuction which is great and i setup for pretty much everyone even on there low boost settings.
Kerry, if you get the chance play with the s300 boost control. I think its great and makes driving these cars alot more fun when setup right.

yea i gotta get a car to play around with the boost controller. my car is slowly coming along and i'll play around with Crome 1st with it (but i hear the boost control has some issues with crome gold). if all else fails i'll get a S300 or eCtune. i'll be using the MAC solenoid
