Hondata s300 with Boost Solenoid
i should be getting my s300 soon waiting for usps and i just bought a mac Boost Solenoid. i plan on doing the boost by gear.
because right now i am using a 7psi spring in my tial 34mm wg.
i plan on boosting max at 17psi.
Now my question is would i need to change my wastegate spring? or it wouldnt matter what spring i have in there since my boost solenoid can change it .
thanks for any info

no you leave your wg spring so your minimum wil be 7 psi then you go up from there. usually a boost controller will come close to trippling your wg spring. so 17 psi should be attainable with a 7 psi spring.

Re: Hondata s300 with Boost Solenoid
thats right. times 3 of your wg spring is ur max DC of the solenoid. APPROXIMATELY.
start with 20%DC
then 50%
then 80%
probably 80% will give u 17psi or so.
