the way it works is set the activation rpm 100rpm less than the launch rev limitter rpm. eg. if launch rpm is 6500 activation rpm should be 6400. then retard the ing, more u retard it the more boost it will build, also whe u do this ist tough on the turbo.

it is tough on your turbo , and typical retard timing is -12 to -15 seems to work well , you also want to watch the wideband you don't want this too hot, so you may want to add a bit of fuel.. but the hotter the gases the more it will spool, but the more dangerous as well

I have a question, when u type in the ignition retard, does it automatically set it as retard, or do you have to type it in as a negative number?
Also what engine are you on? I think a lot of people with B-series set the RPM to around 7K

Re: Hondata S300 Anti Lag Settings (turbodav)
I was able to build 7.5 psi at the line (what my wastegate spring is) easily. It kept backing out the bolts on my wastegate though, so I wasn't running any boost going down the track and had to tighten it all the way back down after each run.
My calibration is on the other computer but I'll check it out and let you know what I entered. I only went to the track once so I didn't really have a chance to mess around with the settings.

I think the way they work is by giving you a rpm limit when your car isn't moving. Once its moving it acts like normal.. So stopped at the line you could have your car have a rev limit of like 5k instead of running up to 8, 9, 10, what ever.

Re: Hondata S300 Anti Lag Settings (SiKid86)
so, there is no type of retard or anything? well i guess what im trying to ask is, its not an optimal way to build boost off the line, right? Its just more of a rev limiter type thing?

NepTune is smarter than that.
The anti lag goes like this....
You first setup your two-step.
Get that to where you want it then introduce anti-lag.
The anti-lag works off the two step.
Anti-lag kicks in once you engage your two-step which helps spool and creates less wear on the turbo.
There are also setting to apply the anti-lag settings to your overall timing. It applies the specified amount of ignition retard from the overall ignition value rather than the from the value in the current ignition map. Using this you can reach 0 degrees of actual ignition timing.

Re: Hondata S300 Anti Lag Settings (tepid1)
so were you referring to neptune? you CAN or CANT do this with neptune as well? Because from what i remember, my tuner set up my 2step and when I was trying it, i couldnt get more then 2psi built up. Are there more settings he can adjust for this? I will ask him more about it.
Thanks by the way

Yes I was referring to NepTune and Yes you can do it. Who was the tuner and when did it get tuned IE: what month / year? There are newer versions of the NepTune software that have been released which support all of this.

I love Neptune, it has features hondata cant even come close to. I've play'd around with S300 software and its not as extensive as Neptune

the only feature that neptune has that s300 doesn't is blue tooth, and quad stage boost controller made easier to set up......s300 is right there is neck and neck with it.

correct me if I am wrong....but chrome and neptune are hacked versions of Hondata, right. If correct it must be nice to have someone elses engineers take care of all the hard work, so you can add all the easy frills!!!
