Default Hondata S200B vs. Hondata Stage 4 w/Boost **Which System???**

Well I'm debating weather to go w/the Stage 2 or 4 Hondata for my next F/I Tune or Should I settle for the S200B (I ran this system before )

Tell me the Pros & Cons (If any) of the 2-Systems?

Stage 4 is dated...the only way you're going to find one of those is used.

s200 is capable...but burning chips blows

s300 is cheap, faster and has boost control

I was going to disagree and say get the older system but when thinking about it, once you buy the s200 and then get a boost controller also, you've already spent what the S300 costs.

So the S300 comes w/Internal Boost Controller??? Or you would have to add it in additional when you purchase the S300?

The S300 supports boost control if you add in a few extra components to the ecu, and pick up a GM solenoid (under $50 for the solenoid and harness)..

Incorrect. The s300 system has an optional pwm boost package to install into the ecu. You will then need a GM boost solenoid w/ pigtail to control your boost via the hondata s300 system.

How much EXTRA $$$ would it cost to add the PWM on top of the s300??? (if you already have the GM Boost Solenoid and Pigtail.)

it is a few bucks to add the components yourself, or pay hondata like 75 to do it, and from there it is all in the software. i kinda like it. it is like 200 tops. i cant remember how much hondata wanted to prep the ecu, and you can use an AEM solenoid or a MAC valve. you just need to invert the polarity in the boost control parameter.

S300 all the way.... to add the components it's only another $60 bucks. The gm solenoid is also around $50.
