hondata s200b and dsm 450 idle issue....
Ive been searching this for quite some time now. I am pretty sure it is the basemap I am running, although sfp supposedly does good work. Just want to make sure and see what you all think.
setup, 95 accord f22b2 fmax turbo kit, dsm 450's, s200b, p28, 2step colder plugs gapped to .34, msd sci
thats about all that i can think that would relate to my problem, which is as follows:
I start up and she fires right up, idle surges a bit up to like 2400 or so, then continues to drop sometimes slowly, sometimes fast, but it will always stall out within 30 seconds or so. it held on for a bit today, but when i tried to give it gas to steady the idle a little higher, it would just jump, it wouldnt hold steady at all.
basemap? injectors? plugs? vac leak?
well plugs are out of the question, they are just black, just running pig rich,
injectors shouldnt be an issue seeing as my p0B ecu would idle with them in, but it did run rich as ****. vac leak shouldnt be an issue, it goes right to -20vac but then drops as the idle drops of couse.
i left a message for darin at titan to see how much he charges for a basemap so i could drive the ****** 4 miles to get tuned. or i might just tow.
thanks
dave

I'll provide a bump... but I don't think I have ever heard of anyone using dsm 450 injectors with Hondata.
EDIT: nevermind, but maybe some information here will shed some light.

hmm i do have a set of 440 lucas injectors, maybe i should try those. just been so busy with school lately. ill see what i can do with those. i was a bit skeptical the whole time until i saw the link in the second link that went right to hondatas board....that made it pretty clear.
thanks

well i put in some lucas 440's and it seems to idle much stronger, sounds a lot more normal. but still stalling out. i have some vac leaks and my egr valve has no bolts on it at the moment (lost them ) would that warrant a quick stall? or is this just in teh tune this time? any help would be appreciated. if not hopefully ill figure it out

Get it tuned on the dyno. You can't expect a basemap to run the car perfectly. Godd idea to ditch the DSM injectors too as they typically don't work well.
