Hondata s200 hard starting and surging
I got my 2 lit lsvtec turbo tuned at Trackmasters. First boost setting at 10psi got 259 whp and 211 lbs of torque. Second boost setting at 15psi Turbonetics T3T4 made a high pitch squel so that ended the session. Checked turbo and shaft had more play than normal when tugging at the wheel up and down or side to side.
After tuning car has a hard time starting. If sitting over 2-3 hours it starts right away. If after driving, ignition is turned off and I try to start again after a couple of minutes it has a hard time kicking over. When it does kick over and I drive off it seems to get fuel surges; off, then on when holding throttle steady at low rpm 2-3k. After car is ran for awhile it goes away.
I know it's in the tuning. I don't have data logging so I gotta get back and have them datalog on the dyno. I'm thinking it's the programming of the tps sensor? Could be the fuel map. Just waiting for my sc61 on backorder. Has anyone else experienced this?
