Hondata questions... stock p28 or chipped?
If i was planning to get the hondata s2000 system in the future would it be better to start off with a stock p28 ecu or one that is already chipped?
Thanks for the help.
p.s. i also noticed that hondata is now selling ecus with obd2 connectors, is it better for someone with an obd2 car to start off with that modified ecu or is it better to just purchase a conversion harness and a p28?

as far as which conector to use, get whichever one is cheaper..
as fas as the chipped ecu goes.. if it is chipped already it may be socketed.. that is what you need.. if your ecu is not socketed hondata will have to do it for you at a small charge when you buy the system

Oh ok, so socketed is what the ecu needs to be, thanks for the response.
As far as the obd2 plugs/ecu i may be interpreting this statement from their web site wrong.

Hondata has OBDI P28 ECUs modified with OBDII connectors. These plug straight into an OBDII vehicle with no adapter harness necessary. Available with OBDII A (96-97) and OBDII B (98-00) connectors.
thanks again.
