Default hondata/aem connection

what do these units use for connection to a laptop? USB or serial port, need to know for buying my laptop, it has usb.....

It uses a rs232 serial (cereal) port. You can get a serial to usb adaptor, I think.

yeah i remember the cereal port, i poured milk on my computer - still nothing

you can use a usb to serial adapter but some people have problems with that. i recommend a laptop with a serial port.
