Honda Prelude H22 Engine Management Question
Does anyone else have idle issues at a cold start with AEM?
I have been thinking about selling or trading my AEM EMS for Hondata S300, what do you guys think? Help me out with comparisions or which way to go. I guess I just don't like the cold starts and idle on AEM.

Charles, I told you before YES almost everyone has cold start issues, you can't just turn the key forward anymore and VIOLA start. Mine starts easy even with 1600cc injectors BUT my tuner JDogg does predominately only AEM tuning so

you need a T1 cam trigger kit, and some tuning from brad brooks done at Tempest Racing
its not aem's fault with your cold start issues. my car has 1600cc injectors, a 5 bar map sensor, no idle air controll motor, and ferrea/comp non vtec cams in it and it still starts great.

Exactly I agree with you Joe, you need a tuner who will spend the time or already knows how to overcome the cold start issues with AEM
