Like the title says. Im working on putting together an eg hatch with a turbo H22 and I was wondering if anyone has been succesful in using used Honda axles in this swap (hoping to boost 15psi btw). Or if everyone got tired of snaping the weaker original equipment peices and just went out and bought the expensive replacements. Thanks for your time. Just hoping to save some money on what I know is going to be an incredible fun money pit

thinking about this as well. boost+stock axles=???? depending on how low the car is and what kind of flywheel, clutch, transmission fluid gear you have including lsd or no lsd

it's all depends on your setup. I have seen stock axles breaks at stock HP, and I have seen held up to 9's.

Things that you may want to check and see...

Does your axles bind at standing still ?
How low is your car at standing still ?
Are you hearing any clicking or vibration as of now ?

Things that will help to prolong axles life...

Hand torqued the axle nut, avoid using impact driver
Check and correct your alignment
check your ball joint
check and correct your ride height to as close as stock ride height as possible
check and correct your motor mounts.

Again, if you have gone through all those, your stock axles will holld up just fine up to certain level...
I have had customer that buy stage 1 Gator from me, just becuase with the Swaps and Mount kit, it was immpossible to find the perfect combination of axles to fit perfectly.
