Default Holset VGT on a Honda?

Has anyone tried to use any of these turbos on a small displacement motor?
I was having a crazy idea now that Fleece is coming out with a standalone controller for the VGT. It's supposed to be really in-depth. It's basically a HX35/40 with capabilities to change the turbine housing size from about 5 to 30 cm.

The question is, will this be worth looking into?
I can get the local fab shop to make me a manifold for it. I happen to have one laying around with a few other HX series turbos. I'm just wondering what the benefits might be, if any.

i forgot where i read up on it but i think some mitsu forum or tampa racing has a write up on it but i think it was a different vgt where it changes the angle of those vains/not the size of the ar. but it spooled up faster once controlled properly

It would be nice if someone can make one work off a window switch and as soon as the engine reaches a certain rpm the vains expand. hmmmmm

I can make that happen 0% to 100%. Is the "in-between" that has me thinking. The controller that Fleece is coming out with is suppose to give you full control of the unit. I think they want to make it EFI Live compatible.

mayb u can make it pressure dependent

when it exceeds or about to exceed a certant manifold pressure intake or exhaust it opens just enough to keep it at a certant ar per psi of boost

gonna b tricky with a potentiometer that can register pressure
