Default hole in turbine housing?

I just bought a T3 Super 60 and while checking it out I saw a hole inside the manifold inlet. It is directly across from the internal wastegate hole. The hole has threads in it and I can see the end of one of the turbine housing bolts. The hole itself is the same side as the bolt. Is this normal?

In the turbine? That would be interesting.
Maybe someone tapped it for an EGT probe?
Can you post a pic?
