Hit rev-limiter last night while boosting-- any damage?
Last night I was boosting in 2nd and watching the road and hit rev-limiter for like a quarter of a second. Nothing immediate was done, but I was wondering if there could be any damage?? The car sounds like its running fine-- no smoke or anything, but for future reference could there be any problems?? I'm also only pushing 6psi.

I never understood why hitting the rev limiter was bad for FI. I understand that it cuts fuel which causes a tempoary lean condition but wouldnt this be bad in all applications - NA and FI?
Is an ignition cut a better rev limiter?

I have hit my rev limiter more times than I can remember and the car is fine. 70,000 boosted miles and not a lick of problems!!
