Highest HP on 1000cc Injectors! (No Regulator)
I'm just trying to see what people are getting out of 1000cc injectors with stock fuel pressure. (No pressure regulator)
Edit: Post duty cycle if you know it and brand of injector.
I've used the injector calculators but would rather see actual results.
I'm using a b16b converted to a 1.8 using ls internals.

Post the motor as well.
You'll see results ranging from 500whp-620whp. The type of fuel pump used will also have a big effect on the power made safely.

i made 613whp stock base fuel pressure on my precision 1000s. i have an fpr but havent made any adjustments to it since the walbro was already at its limit didnt want to push it any further.

How is Morgan with getting 1000's to idle good?? I'm thinking about going for closer to 550whp so I figured mine as well just get 1000's now.
Did you have a gauge on yours?

for 550whp i would definately suggest 1000s now. we didnt have a fuel pressure gauge on it. my car idles great on the 1000s. come down to the shop and i can show you lol.

for 550whp i would definately suggest 1000s now. we didnt have a fuel pressure gauge on it. my car idles great on the 1000s. come down to the shop and i can show you lol.

I'm kinda confused on which injectors to buy as well. I'm replacing my 450cc dsm's, I've installed new je pistons and eagle rods [t04e gsr] and am looking to boost as much as I can on stock sleeves with my walbro 255. I'm looking at either precision 880s or 1000s and would like to still have enough injector when I sleeve my block down the road. Whatta u all think?

It would help if you listed the type of engine you are using.
Here are some dyno charts all at stock fuel pressure using walbro 255's.

I know they can do past 600 but I don't really trust them on walbro pumps. Anything over 600 I'll usually run the A1000 pump or 1600cc's... or both.

680 hp is about the max your gonna get out of them with adjustable fuel pressure at 100% DC so just figure its gonna be something less with base stock fuel pressure.

A lot of K series guys upgrade to big injectors w/o doing the return fuel conversion. Nothing wrong with it, you just run out of fuel quicker.

i don't think your gunna have fuel pressure without a regulator. see the fuel pump makes the fuel flow. and your not gunna have pressure without a restriction (regulation)

never mind read it wrong. what will actually hapen is your factory fuel pump cant flow enough for your 1000cc to flow. but if you upgrade your pump your factory regulator is not designed for the flow change thus more flow same restricton more pressure. i would recommend a regulator. my aeromotive is great and real cheap, like 130 from jegs

ls vtec w/ a 35r. made 592whp on a dynapack. stock FPR, stock fuel lines. just upgraded the rail and used a walbro. cant remember the duty cycle, but it was a bit higher than i'd like to see it.

Whats that dude talking about HAHA? Mike and the craziest single cam Ryan are making the most sense. 600whp pretty much but I guess now (Mike) whats my stock ignition good to??? You think 550whp will work with stock dizzy??

made almost 800 with stock dizzy, but on topic made 600 on 1000cc and 255 pump

hmm this is al very interesting.. my car runs on precision 1000's but idle is pretty over-fuelled due to the integra-link ecu i have running them. they are only at approx 60% duty cycle @ 280kw atw (370whp+/-) (97jdm ITR) and im looking at switching to something a bit smaller. a guy down here in this part of the world has been tuning a turbo civic and using precision 1000's on Gull's new bio-fuel he was at 95% duty cycle at just 330kw, seems bit low to me, surely 1000's would squirt a bit more then that, im think the bio-fuel, but its supposed to be rated at 98 octane

if you have a dizzy in good condition i dont think you will have a problem. cant say 100 percent. Its hit or miss sometimes. since ive switched to hondata s300 and an oem dizzy, I made 574whp on my 30r setup with a stock dizzy. the stock honda ecu's work very well with the stock dizzy.

i made 520 @ 21psi 76R on a stock head h22a with a walbro 255lp and 1000cc RC's would have went a bit higher on the boost but fuel pressure was starting to drop....

the dizzy deal is very hit or miss. ive seen some cars make bucos of horsepower like some of these guys are saying. mine started breaking up right at 540whp. that was at 21psi on race gas. i put an MSD (which everone has opinions about, but i like it) on the car and made 592whp on 22psi, all other things constant. try it and see what happens; if it doesnt work, change it up.

What's your a/f though? At idle brooks says his car is around 11.2:1 at with 1000's which is pretty fukin rich. I wonder if I should just do 880's and buy a FPR.
