Leakdown test will indicate the headgasket

ill do a leakdown test tomorrow.

i pulled on a couple bikes pretty hard. mostly 750 or less street/sport bikes. got my *** beat by a zx12R though.

you aint pushin 400hp @ 12-13psi with that stock GSR intake manny, but either way it looks like a fun ride

yeah youre probably right. but i have seen 399whp out of a bone stock gsr. i was thinking close to 400 at the crank.

anyways, thanks and i hope i figure this crap out.

on 12-13 psi ur seein alil over 300whp if u have a decent setup

he couldnt be any more right


and yes it could possibly be a headgasket... take a look under the hood and look to see if theres any leakage underneath ur cylinder head and where it bolts to the bottom end. if u got leakage thats a guaranteed head gasket

I was going to say around 350ho cause he does have an SC61 so that makes up for it.

regardless... i believe its high strung for a totally stock high mileage gsr.

i have a sleeved gsr and I run 1 bar on a Sc61 and it feels slow to me.

I am also having headgasket issues.


My advice: Dont copper spray it.

Jeff Evans would disagree on that, I dont use the stuff but he swares by it.
