Here's my setup. This is my first H build. I assembled everything myself from oilpan to valve cover. I'm a college student so the build has taken a lot longer, but it coming along.

-Arias 9:0 pistons
-Eagle H beam rods
-ARP main studs
-ACL bearings
-KS balance shaft removal kit
-H23 manual tensionor

Head:
-H22 head
-ARP Head Studs
-Crower Springs & Retainers
-Type S cams
-AEM cam gears
-Stock valves
-Stock IM with butterfly plates removed
-Onmi power 70mm Throttle body
-AEM fuel rail & regulator

Tranmission:

-H23 M2S4 tranny
-8 lbs Fidenza Flywheel
-Stage 5 Competition Clutch

Turbo:

Turbonetics 60 trim .70Exaust
-LoveFab Mini me Manifold
-HKS blow off valve
-TIAL 38mm wastegate(10Lbs Spring)

The build has just been finished I'm working out all the kinks now. Once everthing is complete.. Then I'm off to the dyno!

I really don't know what to expect from this setup, but I hope it puts down good numbers. Any suggestions would be great!

OEM gearset in a Hatch has a CHANCE of lasting a minute at 600ish, for a minute, after that... TICK TICK TICK...

Add a fat chassis, and BOOM sooner. Hatchbone: When did you redyno and make the 821 ?

Just ordered another forged straightcut set Monday for another guy here... May have toom for one more, but PM me so Mods dont get pissed.

Been whittling away at this, going to Ben Freed @Freed Engineering early next month for the piping and other misc fab. Going to have to get creative with the intercooler mounting and radiator mounting.

This is the, I don't know really...... 7th turbo setup this thing has had? Started with a rev hard kit back in 2000. Been a long expensive, frustrating road. Lol.

Thanks!

All the covers are there, just "mooned" around the valve cover and lower plastic cover. But the rear cover is there, chance of something falling in pretty unlikely.

Tubby- I don't know if that walbro can feed 2 044's from the tank to a surge like that. Never seen it done anyway. What size lines? And are you against sumps? I don't want to sump because I don't have the time/money to race competitively and would rather just have a nasty street car I can play around with. Just curious. I suppose you could replace the 255 with one of the new 450's if need be

A 255 HP is plenty to feed 2 044s in a surge tank.

rail return to surge and surge overflow to main tank. Money

A wally as a 'lift pump' to a surge tank with a pair of 044's works pretty well, that is how mine is setup... although on an F22 sohc. E98, ID2000's, 6265 etc... and supporting plenty of power thus far.

Good to see you car closer to done (again) Spoolin! I like the idea of the Walbro feeding 2 044's, in a small tank, that's what I am planning for when I go boost.

I've seen the surge tank approach many times, just wasn't sure of the walbro's ability.
Surge tanks are all the rage in Europe. Practically everything fast over there has a surge setup in the trunk.

I may switch to ID2000's from the 1k's and add another 044 in parallel. I have the 255 pump feeding my single 044 inline at the moment with -10 lines. I have pretty easy access to E-85 I just don't know if I want to spend the money on the pump and injectors. I'm going to get it up and running as it as, and see how it does. I need to have a running car before I change ****, I've been famous for that for years now.... need to stop.

Thanks Man, I'm glad it is too.....

If you have any intention of running on E-85, I would say the ID 2000s will be a must. And either dual 044s or a big Weldon pump. Of course I am going on the assumption that you plan to push that turbo into the 30+ psi range and need that much fuel.

Skunk2 makes a adapter plate for a K2B because a K-series intake is better right? Suppously better than their old manifold. How come skunk2 just doesnt remake the H seires manifold the way it should be instead of this adapter plate nonsense?

They probably figure they can probably sell more adapters for proven OEM intake styles than their own intakes. That and some of their intakes kind of suck.

Old topic, but maybe some of you will be interested.

We've launched an Indiegogo campaign in hopes of the H-Series community coming together to make the product happen.

I find it odd how you want the "community" to fund your investments.
