Default High compression Dyno (still not done yet) Hondata nitrous controll for boost controll.

Was NOT going to post, but said to hell with it. No secrets here. Once finished, plan on running SFWD and associated classes.

We were unable to run any higher than 16psi due to a failing turbo. We dyno'ed 488whp and 350 trq @ 16psi on race gas. At 19psi it did 459. Once a new turbo is installed (waiting on Precision) I'll go back and tune for a max 22-24 psi.

B18c
Stock head
Crower springs and retainers
Skunk2 intake manifold
precision SC61
LoveFab SST manifold
AEBS block
Eagle rods
Arias 10.5:1 pistons
Aeromotive fuel pump, filters, regulator
Precision 1000cc injectors
-10an feed
-6an return
Hondata S200

Using the Hondata nitrous controll to activate the second stage of the TurboXS DSBC. Let me say, It works flawlessly. SOOOO much easier to run than the AVCR, not to mention more stable.

Some may say the fuel system is over kill, and it may be, but running the high compression with 1000cc injectors on race gas, was reaching a peak of 66% duty cycle.

Waiting on the cage and we'll be ready. Was running consistant 11.40's with 320whp and 200 trq. Cant wait on the new track times.

And not to forget, Stoney doing his thing on the laptop. I cant say enuff about the quality of his tuning or the effort given by everyone at VSV. THANKS GUYS!!!!!!

Smoothing factor of 0, and notice the ambient air temp.

And the 1000 ftlb's of touque!!!!!!

Those are some really crazy numbers, keep us posted on the 22 psi tune.

besides adding more boost to make less power how did you find out your turbo was messing up on you. I feel like mine is doing the same thing. Is it a precision thing or what. A friend of mine got 2 new sc61 and both crapped out on him within a very short period.

At 16 psi it did 488. turned the boost up. Datalogs said 19psi. But it would get kinda eractic and on the dyno the car would act as if it had too much or too little timing. The boost would spool up to 19psi but it would fluxuate there after. (a little, not a lot) We tried both ways with the timing and even a new distributor and it would do the same thing everytime starting at around 7000rpm. Turned the boost back to 16psi and power came back up. Thats when we looked at the turbo and saw what apperaed to be oil coming out the inlet, scrape marks on the inlet housing where the blades had come into contact with it, and noticed a fare amount of shaft play.

The turbo ran great at 9psi for a couple of events and had less than 250 miles on it. Hell, the whole car has 300miles on it. After talking to Precision about it, the told me to send it in and they'll take a look at it and let me know. Got my fingers crossed. Had it a year and 2 months and put all of 200 miles on it.

No cage, no muffler, and I'm sure I would have been protested.

Kicking my self in the *** for not taking our all-motor car. Consistant as hell.

Hoping for the Oct. event.

turbo

if you look at the other dyno, it was a little earlier that day before the turbo really started showing its ***. Had a dyno rpm pick-up problem, causing the 1000ftlb trq, but you can see the 484whp with no dip.
