high comp nitrous b18c1?

Before I start, yes I've read (parts) of the official Nitrous thread. Done my own research on Google and nwp for about 2 months now. Not everyone's motor specs were the same as mines. so I'm posting here.

I want to know what would be a good nitrous set-up for my motor. Direct port is out of my book. This is my daily. Gonna only use it when i feel I need it. Not abuse it!!!!!

Here's the motor specs.

block: b18c1
-JE/srp pistons 11:3.1 compression ratio(81.5mm)
-eagle H-beam rods with arp rod bolts
-crank was balanced/polished
-gsr oil pump & pan
-greddy timing belt
-ARP head bolts
-exedy oem replacement clutch
-resurfaced/balanced gsr flywheel
-2000 gsr crank pulley
-AC, ps.

head: p72 gsr
-skunk2 pro1 camshafts. Just done almost 2 months ago.
-skunk2 cam gears
-portflow titanium dual valve springs n retainers
-head was hot tanked and pressure tested for leaks
-skunk2 intake manifold
-skunk2 vtec solenoid cover
-obd2 gsr throttle body
-ngk spark plugs and wires
-yowai ss carbon fiber intake
-hytech rep header mandrel bend 2.5" piping with Megan exhaust

Gsr fuel pump
stock fpr
hondata s100
obd1 p72 ecu
obd2b-obd1 jumper harness

I want a safe Nitrous set-up. Yet knowing I won't always be using the bottle.

Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!

Direct port wet its safe dont have to rely on the extra fuel its already there

http://www.robietherobot.com/NitrousJetCalculator.htm

most single fogger dry kits come with 50-125jets

http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/prod...cat=125&page=1
quality for a price you can't beat

the 550cc injectors supply all the fuel you'll need

That kit isn't made for this motor.. and why not a wet kit with this set-up? Curious.

dry shots with fuel that's supplied thru the ems (engine management system) are more accurate. that's the newer wave with nitrous...either single dry shot or dry direct port...or dry multiple shots

less chance of having solenoid failure and more control via the EMS is why he's suggesting that. tho there is nothing wrong with traditional wet shots (one solenoid fuel one solenoid nitrous) dry just is more simple and works better!

For Hondas maybe, just say e computer doesnt do what you want boom. i talked to a very knowledgeable guy nitrous and he said wet is easier to tune. im going two stage direct and he said the sytem will flow 400 to 600. Record breaking! OH YEA WET FTW IMOA

But isnt the distribution on a dry set-up bad? Less chances of solenoid failure, but more distribution to the 4 cylinder right?

Yeah, I've heard so crazy thing about an s300 fell out its map and back to stock map and back on to the Nitrous map. Motor didn't make it through.

Also read that direct dry is hard. Damn man, good luck with that!!

You obviously have a lot of research to do.

Check out the official nitrous thread.

Did you read my post? I've been reading the thread. Still going through it.

I didn't see any motors the same as mine.. every motor on there is different than mines. Not trying to be spoon fed. Just trying to find out what "brand" kit I should use that would give me power I need when I need it. And one that's runnable/safe fore my specs..

Re: high comp nitrous b18c1?

its all pref, wet seems easier to tune, no extra maps, tune to high power, then retard timing for nitrous, colder plugs, and go cant get any easier. no worry if the fuel is going to be there. show proof, i want someone to show me a dry set up the runs 400 plus, towards the people running 400 and more on wet set up. there is more than the other and for a reason!

I had a very similar motor to yours. LSV made 210WHP off the bottle.
Little over 300 on. 120 shot wet kit from NX.
I had dual pumps a walbro 255 in tank and inline so fuel doesnt drop when you grab the unit.

Always splashed 112Octane gas at the track and when I using the nitrous on the street.

LSV 12:1 compression Eagle rods. S2S2 cams, toda header and valvetrain. 81.5mm

I had a 2.0 13.1 gsr motor on e85 with a 100 or 125 shot making 350. Im selling the nitrous kit cause the car is turbo'd now. Pm me if you're interested in a really nice big solenoid zex wet fogger kit.
