High Comp, High Rev, Nitrous Fed D16. How To Manage Ecu/Fuel/Timing?
Im new to fuel managment and timing so I really dont know whats available.
Heres a break down of my setup first
Engine:
Sohc Zc non vtec 1.6L
Head:
Milled .040
3angle valve job
Port N Polish
Delta 272 cam
Aem adjustable cam gear
1mm oversized valves
Ferrerea retainers
Dual titanium springs
Dsm 450cc injectors
BnM Fuel Pressure Regulator
Port Matched I/M & E/M
Skunk 2 Intake manifold
66-70mm t/b (not bought yet)
Short ram intake
Bisimoto uncoated header
Block:
Arias 11.5:1 comp flat pistons
Havent bought rods yet, undecided
Micropolished, balanced crank
75.05mm bore
Ill also have a full 3" Kteller exhaust w/ esoval muffler
One thing Im stuck on, is how do you properly go from Bisimoto header -> 3" exhaust, daily driven
Ill also be spraying a 100 shot from a Zex dry kit (bottle heater, pressure gauge, purge)
So thats going to be my motor setup, I think Im going to defientely be making power past the 7200 rpm redline that my pg7 allows right?So...
So what can I do as far as fuel management and ignition.
I honeslty wanted to stay with the Safc 2, one tune for all motor and one for nitrous but I dont know exactly whats avilable.
I need some opinions and options available. I would like to retain OBDO if thats possible
Anyone have a good all motor whp I would be making?
Kinda lost
Thanks for any help

I've read your other post regarding your build and all i can say is this. From the goals you are looking to hit I highly suggest you get a better fuel management the the SAFC and a ******* KICK *** TUNER.
11.5 compression+Boost+100 shot+SAFC inability to control timing = a very explosive combination.
GL on your build though

He's not boosting though.
You should be allright with the SAFC, but will be forced to retard at the distributor therefor losing power on the bottle or not. I would definitely upgrade to a wet kit, if not a direct port kit.

Re: (ILLICON3000)
they make a special board for your ecu so you can run two maps...one for all motor and one for nitrous.....when you arm the nitrous is automaticly switches over. You can run this with uberdata so you can tune fuel and timing (instead of just fuel with the hack). If you want more info pm me and i can help you out.

Still up in the air n what I want from this setup, might spray and boost but I would have to sell my arias pistons I just bought,

You can make a board for boost n another one for boost + spray as well. It lets you use two maps for what ever you want.

Re: (Full Race A6)
As a suggestion, Dont skimp on the ecu bud, you got an awesome setup so far, dont go blowing it up because of poor management.
Id go an Autronic if I were you, that thing is just a mean mean ecu.
