It's a boost source, you can plug it if you don't need it, alot of people use it to run to the wastegate, or for an electronic boost controller. Personally I use a boost source after the throttle body.

some boost controlers require a vacum source before the throttle body. If you have one that does, use this. If not, just plug it.....Mike

I had an AVC-R, and for some reason I was getting a better boost repsonse by using the intake manifold for the source than the boost source on the compressor housing...
so I plugged it up, some EBC are different though, try both, see which one you like..IMO

Hook a gauge up to that, and one to manifold pressure and you'll be able to see how much pressure loss you're getting after the i/c.

I tried to hook my wastegate pressure line after the throttle body, and it resulted in horrible surging. Even after softening up the spring on my BOV i still got at least one cheeeee cheeeeee before it vented. Dont know if this is relevent to everyone else. I've still got an internal wastegate so that might make some difference in the reaction time.

yea neway, just go to kragen and buy a fitting for it. Bring the whole turbo inside the store and show it off while attempiting to fit every screw/plug in the store on your nice turbo.

I would use that connection for the WG instead of a connection at the TB.
The smaller distance will give better response because there will be less expansion in the line.
This is assuming your using a maual boost controller. Electrics may need the TB vaccum source.

Edit: it needs a good polish first
