Hey, that metal hose that goes from the top of the valve cover that goes to the charge pipe. It's not connected. It's not supposed to be is it? Some told me it was.

if you did hook that up., you would be putting boost into the "crankcase" and that is something that you dont want. prolly cause a smoking problem to say the least.

Re: (RedHB)
LOL OK GREAT! man, i appreciate the quick responses I second guessed myself. I would have done a search but it seemed like there was another hose down there, but i was pretty sure it's connected to something else
Thanks again

if you are talking about the metal tubing part...one of them is a vacum hose(on a stock engine) and the other has coolant running through it.
if you want to hook up the valve cover hose. you would need to run it into the tube attached to the turbo inlet(wherever the airfiler is located, thats the correct tube)...since this is where your "vacum" is at while boosting..
but a downside to that is the oil fumes and such that would be getting sucked into the engine which in turn has a higher risk of detonation.

doesnt have to..if your on a budget..stick a hose on it and run it towards the bottom of the car.

Re: (racinskittle)
dont hook it up to your charge pipe and dont put a breather on it. you could do what most people do and just leave it open, or it would be better if you run it on the compressor side of the turbo so it sucks out all the crank case pressure. if you hook it up to your charge pipe it creates blow by, and you dont want to put a breather on it cause you are just filtering outgoing air and you want as much pressure to release
