Hey Guys quick ?
I'm thinking about piecing together my own turbo kit. I have a JDM ITR moyor (And yes I know the ITR is supposed to be NA). But I'm thinking of goin with a T3 Super 60 (.80 AR) The guy building it said he can build it to be ultra reponsive and still be able to handle up to 300 hp (I only want around 250). I can build this kit for about the cost of going NA or Supercharged. My ? to you guys is........Will it be worth it. I don't think I will grenade my motor will I.

sure...why not...just don't overbooost, and use high oct gas...always...

Not replacing internals. I wanted a to keep it @ the stock 11.2:1 compression. I'm not looking to boost crazy. I'm thinking 5-7 pounds of boost....tops. I'm only going to be using a AVC-R and V-AFC for tuning. I figured with the the low boost/small turbo application that I wouldn't need to spend the extra dollars to get a standalone unit.
I'm basically trying to do this for about 2500 tops (Which is about the price of a Supercharger or going NA. ANd trying to beat both applications. |

boost with just a v-afc and regular injector running 7psi is a no-no! you're going to max out the injectors.
